Any member of the Evangelical Congregational Church, with at least three years in good standing, may be a candidate for service in global ministries, if truly called of God and willing to prepare for ministry.

Here are the basic steps in the process:

1. As soon as possible, contact the Global Ministries office to begin the process with an initial interview.
2. Complete the Prospective Questionnaire and continue preparations for ministry.
3. When you are within two or three years of completing preparations for ministry, complete the formal application process.
4. Formal interview.
5. Deputation.
6. Commissioning.
7. Going forth.
