Each year the Global Ministries Commission chooses a project to focus on for our VBS offering. This project is then the theme of our Mission Minded Kids’ lessons for the following year.

For 2009, our VBS/MMK project will be OUR ETHNIC CHURCH PLANTERS.  The funds that are collected will be used to help plant churches among our ethnic congregations in the USA.  

Five minute VBS materials to use with your summer VBS program will be available by May, and MMK lesson materials dealing with the Ethnic Church Plants will be available this summer.

 Many thanks to those who helped make our 2008 VBS project a success - The Launch Liberia project continues to plant churches and minister to the widows and orphans of that country.

PROJECTS BOOKLET

Several of our missionaries have ‘hands-on’ projects that individuals or church groups can participate in. These include making special Christmas stockings for Joe Toy, Wordless Book beaded bracelets, baby shirts for Gloria Smethers, etc. If you would like to consider one of these projects, contact the Global Ministries office for a copy of the Projects Booklet. These booklets are updated every 2-3 years. You are responsible for all shipping charges to get the items to the missionary who has requested them.

For 2010 the VBS MMK material will be focusing on the E.C. work in Nepal!
