The historic beginning of the Evangelical Congregational Church is firmly rooted in our founding leaders’ desire to reach the lost for Jesus Christ. From Jacob Albright and the earliest circuit riders to the most recent church planting teams, our desire as a church community has been, and is, the spreading of the Gospel. “To know Christ and to make Him known” expresses the heart and soul of E.C. church planting ministries. In light of our historic roots, it makes sense that we are a church planting denomination.
