- Camp ECCO Positions
Camp ECCO is looking for an "on-site" and a part-time head cook. Both of these positions have immediate needs (they must be filled) for at least the 2008 summer camping season, but we are also looking for people who may be able to help us beyond this summer. The cover letter and initial application forms are below.
Pleas understand that we have just begun this process and are somewhat unsure what direction we should take. As you read through our information, we ask you to make it a matter of prayer and follow the leading of the Lord. We covet your prayers for Camp ECCO; know we are praying for you as you give your consideration to this ministry. Please contact Scott Carr at vdava13@neo.rr.com or 330-773-8188 at your convenience for more information.
Before you complete your application forms, please understand we are also in the process of putting together a form in which you will be asked to detail the skills you will bring to the appropriate position. Thank you for your prayers and your listening to our Lord's guidance.

- Future Watch Post:
How often do you find a well known leader admitting he (in this case she) was wrong? Sally Morgenthaler recently published an article in Rev. magazine in which she offers just such an admission. Her honest evaluation of the failure of worship evangelism has caused her to rethink her entire premise... and even shut down her website. If you're interested in reading about how evangelical the "evangelical church" is, check out the most recent post at the Future Watch flog site. The article, Oops! I was Wrong, can be found at www.futurewatchgroup.blogspot.com and feel free to post a comment while you're there.
