REGISTRATION/HOUSING/COMMUNICATIONS

REGISTRATION:

Ä  Registration begins on Tuesday, May 24 at 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Registration will move to the Eisenhower Center after 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Ä  Lunch is not provided on Tuesday.

Ä  A $10.00 per person COMMUTER FEE will continue to be charged for Wednesday and Thursday. This fee is assessed by the college.

Ä  The current pastor of each church is responsible to pick up his church’s ministry resource bag (brown paper bag) upon registering.

HOUSING:

DORMS

Ä  Most rooms have two single beds. There is at least one bathroom on every floor designated for each gender.

Ä  Linens are provided in each room: two sheets, a pillow case, pillow, blanket, two towels, washcloth, cup & bar of soap per bed.

Ä  Elevators are available in the dorms.

APARTMENTS

Ä  The apartments are very popular but are limited. Please make an attempt to fill an apartment. Most of the apartments have two bedrooms with at least 2 single beds in each room. Priority will be given to those who are willing to share an apartment with another couple. The apartments also have a small kitchen with a stove and refrigerator, a living room with chairs, and its own bathroom. Linens are provided in each bedroom: two sheets, a pillow case, pillow, blanket, two towels, washcloth, cup & bar of soap per bed.

Ä  Steps must be climbed, there are NO elevators in the apartment buildings and there are NO “handicapped friendly” apartments.

Ä  The apartments may or may not be located further away from the meeting areas. However, we will continue to offer a shuttle service.

Ä  Since apartment rooms are limited, they will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. You will be notified prior to the conference sessions if your request for an apartment will be honored.

COMMUNICATIONS:

Ä  Phone messages received for Conference delegates will be posted on the bulletin board outside the Dining Room. In emergency situations an effort will be made to deliver the message directly to the conference guest. If you need to give out a phone number for someone to reach you, they may call the Conference Services Student Office at (717)766-2511, ext. 6075 from 7:30 am – 11:00 pm and the CIC Dispatchers at (717)691-6005 after 11:00 pm. To insure that your message gets to you as soon as possible, the person calling should know what conference you are attending, and if possible, your room assignment, so the call may be transferred to your room.
